Mr Goli Soda
70 franchises, 45 factories, one system.
ERPNova connected production, franchise finances and live field sales in one ERP. The move from Odoo cut ERP spend by roughly 80% and made each franchise’s profitability visible.

“VGTS made Frappe ERP easy to adopt, giving us better control over inventory, production, and operations.”
About Mr Goli Soda
Mr Goli Soda produces traditional Indian marble-bottle soda through 45 factories and 70 company-operated franchises. ERPNova moved its operations from Odoo to Frappe ERP and Frappe HR, connecting 300+ employees and field sales through VGTS’s YoloWorks.
Every franchise’s profit matters
Franchisees invest; Mr Goli Soda runs each unit and guarantees a minimum return. Management needs to see which franchises cover that guarantee and which draw on company funds.
Returnable bottles add another challenge: keeping crates and trays visible as they move between factories, franchises and the market.
Why they left Odoo
At 300+ users, per-user licences and hosting made Odoo costly to scale. Franchise profitability still had to be assembled from multiple screens.
After moving to Frappe ERP, total ERP spend fell by roughly 80%, with no per-user licence fees.
- Software costs rose with each hire
- Support lacked the required business context
- No single view of franchise profitability
What changed across the business
One ERP connects the questions management asks every day: profit, stock, sales and people.
Licence costs increased with every hire.
No per-user ERP licence fees; lower overall spend.
Profitability pieced together across screens.
Separate books for each franchise, with live profitability and group consolidation.
End-of-day phone updates.
YoloWorks sends orders, visits and collections to Frappe ERP live, with hourly KPIs.
Returnable packaging difficult to trace.
Dispatches and returns track crates across factories, franchises and the market.
Sixty days, with manually confirmed tasks.
Reusable task checklists with approval at each stage.
More staff meant higher software costs.
Hiring, payroll and employee KPIs in one system for 300+ staff.
70 companies. One group view.
Each franchise keeps its own statutory books in Frappe ERP. Management sees consolidated results and guarantee exposure while the month is still running.
Factory transfers, franchise billing, settlements and guarantee payouts are recorded as linked transactions.
Field sales, visible by the hour
YoloWorks gives sales leaders a live view of each rep’s orders, visits and collections. Hourly KPIs reveal where the field process needs attention; leaving the field requires approval when defined metrics are unmet.
From field visit to sales dashboard, live.
The bottles come back
Every dispatch and return updates crate and tray inventory. Teams can see where returnable packaging sits and which franchises need to send it back.

Franchise onboarding: 60 days to 35
Each new franchise follows a standard task checklist. Approvers confirm every stage before it closes, helping reduce onboarding from 60 days to 35.
Clear tasks and approvals from setup to opening day.
What each stakeholder sees
Dashboards give each team the information it needs.
